Rebecca and I am 20 years old / Nigel and I am 25 years old.
What is your stage name?
My solo stage name is Verdikt, however, I also have another stage name since I also play with a friend of mine which is VX // Obsequent.
How many months/ years have you been Djing / producing?
Rebecca – I have now been DJing for approximately 3.5 years and producing for 2.5 years. Nigel – 4 years djing / 3 years producing.
Why do you want to share your music?
Rebecca – I feel that music really helps one express themselves in a different way and so it makes the listeners interested in listening to something different. Nigel – I enjoy the rush and emotion that music brings out of people and how it affects each and every individual differently.
Mention an artist that inspired you to become a DJ/producer?
Anetha & Johannes Heil / I Hate Models – His creativity in both his mix and production is very inspiring. His music is vast and always has something new around every corner.
Is there a local artist that you look up to and love to see play at events?
Yes there is, that would be Alek Sane. I have always looked up to Acidulant for his dedication to music and acid and have been following him way before I have done any production, and Alek Sane for his creative mixing always brings some chills when he plays, and a very good friend of mine Josh West for his insane skills in live electronic music.
