Who are you? How old are you?
I am Isaac Millo and I am 21 years old.
How many months/ years have you been Djing / producing?
I bought my first controller in the beginning of January 2022. And I will be starting to learn producing this summer.
Mention an artist that inspired you to become a DJ/producer?
Inspirational artists are CLTX, Fjaak, Brutalismus 3000, I hate Models, charlie sparks, parfait, Trym and Alignment but I appreciate most genres of techno and their respective artists.
Is there a local artist that you look up to and love to see play at events?
As a local artist I look up to Yazmin and Matte mostly as they are the ones I’ve heard the most.
What skills do you think DJs need to be successful?
Most important skills to me are song selection, phrasing, EQ mixing and smooth transitions with impactful changes.
How do you stay up to date with the latest music trends?
I stay up to date mostly by following the artists or labels that I like and searching playlists on Spotify and listening to sets of my favourite artists at the time.
What would you say is the most rewarding part of being a DJ?
