Who are you? How old are you?

I’m great and thank you for the invite. I’m 39 years young.

How many months/ years have you been Djing / producing?

This is a tricky question, I’d say around 17 years ago I started fiddling with production, My first DJ sets were circa 1999.

Mention an artist that inspired you to become a DJ/producer?

Huge credit goes to “The Baron of Techno” and his groundbreaking Electro Boogie DJ Mixes. I practically had those mixes on a loop during my teenage years.

Is there a local artist that you look up to and love to see play at events?

Right now I’d say Devil’s Breath and Monotone Murk

What skills do you think DJs need to be successful?

In today’s scene, effective marketing certainly plays a pivotal role. Nevertheless, it’s equally crucial to grasp the history and foundations of electronic music.
Stay open-minded, don’t confine yourself to one style, and explore your creative boundaries.

How do you stay up to date with the latest music trends?

News Articles, Labels and Bandcamp mainly

What would you say is the most rewarding part of being a DJ?

The interaction between the Dj and the crowd and all the chaos that comes with it. But it all starts in the quiet of a studio, often in a remote location, where we, as creators, turn thoughts and emotions into music. For me, that’s the most rewarding part of the journey.
